Finance, Supply Chain, Data Management & IT Director

We are looking for a Finance, Supply Chain, Data Management & IT Director for an immediate start. This is a permanent full-time position based in our office in Belgium.

In that role, you will be an active member of the Leadership Team, providing strategic guidance for the organization in key functional domains as finance, logistics, information technology and data strategy. You will lead the development and management of Flen Health’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, playing a pivotal role in ensuring that the Board of Directors and CEO receive accurate, relevant, and timely financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Your responsibilities:

Finance (50%):

  • Define and execute the company's financial strategy, for the Flen Health Group and its international affiliates, in partnership with the CEO
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, treasury management, and risk monitoring
  • Oversee accounting, taxation, audits, compliance, transfer pricing, and governance
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting and performance insights to support decision-making
  • Maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and other stakeholders
  • Develop robust internal controls and strengthen financial capabilities across the organization.
  • Lead and develop the Finance team to ensure high performance, continuous improvement, and succession readiness

Supply Chain (30%):

  • Define and execute stock, demand planning, purchasing, and inventory strategies
  • Ensure product availability, on-time delivery, and effective inventory management
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and overall supply chain performance
  • Establish KPIs, monitor risks, and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate supply chain activities across Sales, Marketing, Quality, and other departments
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and logistics providers
  • Drive supplier compliance, operational excellence, and business continuity
  • Reduce supply chain risks and ensure uninterrupted product supply to patients

IT & Data management (20%):

  • Develop and implement the IT and data strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Drive digital transformation and promote data-driven decision-making
  • Ensure data governance, cybersecurity, system reliability, and information integrity
  • Lead IT and data projects, technology investments, and innovation initiatives
  • Partner with business functions to identify and address technology and data requirements 
  • Manage technology risks, system performance, and service delivery
  • Lead and develop the IT and Data Management teams fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Your qualifications & experience: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Applied Finance, or an MBA with a concentration in Finance
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, including leadership of teams across multiple locations
  • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
  • Proficiency in accounting and financial management software
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
  • Sound understanding of IT operations, systems, infrastructure, and technology developments
  • Good knowledge of supply chain management principles, ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), transportation management software, and Lean methodologies
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical thinking
  • Strong leadership: team management and project management capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Dutch, French and/or German is a strong asset
